Patti Pharo, ABCDT, started The K-9 Behavior Savior, LLC to help people develop the same respectful and rewarding relationship that she has shared with her dogs.  Her interest in dog training stared in earnest when she adopted J.D. from a shelter.  He is a lab/ridgeback who soon grew from a cute puppy to a 32 inch high, 95 pound perennial puppy.  Training J.D. gave her both a wonderful companion and a new passion.  She became a certified trainer because it is her belief that training based on mutual respect is the key to reducing the need for dogs to be surrendered to shelters.

Respect:
We will provide you with simple tools and exercises that you can use with your dog to help foster mutual respect.

Respond:
Through positive reinforcement, hand signals and the proper use of verbal cues you encourage desired behavior and diminish unwanted responses.  Without fear or intimidation your dog will happily respond how and when you want.

Reward:
This is the fun part!  We will show you appropriate rewards that your dog will love.  In turn you will be rewarded with a well behaved dog that any owner would be proud to own.
